Overview

Economics is a fascinating subject and involves social science, business and policy. It can be used to explain the behavior of individuals, groups and organizations. As an economics student you will study a host of topics including how consumers and firms make decisions, how markets work, how competition or the lack thereof matters, how economies grow, and how firms and nations want to trade internationally.  Studying economics will help you develop a strong understanding of businesses, markets and government organizations.  It prepares you for careers in the private, public and academic sectors.
